Human beings are a reward based species, nobody wants to do something for nothing, there has to be something gained. The sad fact of it is most people will pay their $30 gym membership for years on end and never produce a single change in body composition. Maybe you hire a personal trainer for a month or two to get some new ideas but at $60 a session, the funds run out quickly. I shutter at some of the things I’ve seen in commercial gyms in regards to personal trainers. People will valet their car and reluctantly hand over the keys. All valuables will be locked up and accounted for, and the car will be thoroughly scanned for dents or scratches upon return, yet we are willing to hand our body over to someone we never met simply because they have a certification. A shift needs to occur.
